having a relationship at work

let me ask you a question first.
are people at work open about their relationship?
even if it is within the workplae?

in japan people are usualy NOT open about it.
we are highly likely not to tell anyone unless we are getting married.
some workplace do not allow to have a relationship within.
i think it is ridiculus as it is impossible to prohibit it.

i know lots of people got married within and it is welcomed at my work.
my senior staff, she got married to a guy and shes open about it.
her wedding is on next month and she is in the greatest mood for the last few month. but on the other hand, there is this lady in admin that got married to an engineer in the company. they do not tell anyone and i have heard it from a friend. he told me that i must not talk about it and not to tell anyone. its pretty weired i think but that what people do here in japan.

what do you tihnk? do you think its weired or its okay? or you might not even care.
